Creating our digipak: day two

Once myself and Keeley were happy with our digipak front cover, it was time to begin adding our other photos and creating the remainder of the product.

We are happy with the photographs we have taken and the way in which we have edited our photos to look dark and sombre by decreasing the saturation and increasing the contrast of them; we edited them in this way in order to portray the sombre theme that runs throughout Lorde's melodrama album and her music in general.

However, we felt that our digipak doesn't fully portray our theme of multiple personalities strongly enough, therefore, we began to consider what could make each picture stand out as an individual character. We thought of the idea of editing our character's hair on each picture, as well as changing eye and lip colour in order to really empathise our film and ensure that our digipak relates to our music video as well as resembling Lorde's artistic style.

After we had edited our photographs and were happy with the result, we began positioning them onto our digipak.

There's still many changes to be made such as adding spines, and also correcting the album name to "Melodrama" as we accidentally used the name of our music video song instead. However, we are much happier with our product now that our photographs have been edited further and feel that our digipak now represents our theme much more clearly. We have also added the album song names to our digipak and placed them onto a faded out photograph in order to ensure that the song names stand out.
