Detailed planning

Location:
1. Outside: Burton Street
2. The back of Keeley's car
3. My house
Myself and Keeley have decided to film mostly outside due to the nature of both the song and our protagonist; we are aiming to present our protagonist as being lost and not truly belonging anywhere: this is shown as we capture her wandering the streets with no clear destination. Two of our initial shots will be filmed within a car, as the first lyric of our chosen song is "baby really hurt me, crying in a taxi", therefore we decided that the back of a car would be an effective location in order to relate to the lyrical content. This will also be a great opportunity for us to start to portray our troubled protagonist; she will be shown in the back of an unknown car and the driver is never shown, this will portray her vulnerability and solitude.  There will be a few shots towards the climax of the song that are filmed within the protagonist's bedroom, as she looses hope and stumbles home as a last resort. Our music video will finish within the protagonist's bedroom.

Props:
In order to begin filming, we will need a number of props to help us create our ideal music video. These props include:
1. Photographs
2. A lighter
3. A bottle of alcohol
4. A photo album
5. A bottle of pills
We will ensure that we have all of these props available to us before beginning to film. These props are vital as they will help us to create a dark, morbid tone that we hope will run throughout our entire video, in order to reflect the tone within the song. Our protagonist will stumble upon a photo album and photographs of when she was previously happy, this will push our character over the edge and she will begin to rip and burn them (hence the use of the lighter). The pills and the bottle of alcohol will come into use when our protagonist has decided to end her life; the climax to our music video. Ultimately, all of our props will help us to reiterate the sadness both within our protagonist and our video itself.

Costumes:
Our protagonist is the main character throughout our video, we plan to dress her in something bright such as a yellow cardigan or jacket in order to show her prominence. Our protagonist will also be dressed in a black top to contradict the bright yellow colour, this will show her unpredictability, she cannot decide who she wants to be or what path she wishes to go down; this is represented by the inconsistency in her outfit. Black is also known for it's dark, negative connotations, therefore, this will also show the character's sadness.

Equipment:
In order to film our footage, we have decided to use Keeley's iPhone six plus. This model of iPhone is renowned for it's camera quality, therefore, we decided that it would be very effective to use whilst filming. We also have a small tripod which may be used for some of the bedroom scenes to obtain a still and clear shot.
