Filming: day two

Today myself and Keeley met again in order to film further footage, we weren't entirely happy with the results that we achieved last time and need to be 100% content with the footage that we are including in our music video.

The issues that we faced whilst filming again included continuity: everything within our footage needed to match up to the footage that we previously filmed. Certain factors that needed to be kept the same included my clothes, my makeup and my hair; due to me being the centre of the video, we needed to ensure that every detail remained the same.

We also needed to ensure that the weather was the same as it was during the first day of filming, in order to increase our chances, we watched the forecast closely for a few days in order to decide which day would be best for re-filming. We were lucky with the weather and it remained dry and sunny just as it was within our previous shots.

A few of the scenes that needed to be re-filmed included our friend Anyia, so it was crucial that she was available on the day of re-filming in order to re-take those shots.

We faced a couple of struggles whilst trying to match everything up, such as the bedding in my room: it had been changed since the last time that we filmed. We also needed to make everything in my room look the same as the previous filming day, luckily, there weren't many scenes within my room that needed to be re-filmed; most of them were outside.

We are happier with the footage that we have gathered from our second day of filming, but we are still aware that we may need to re-film for a third day if our footage isn't exactly as desired.

Editing update

Throughout our first day of editing myself and Keeley have realised that we are not happy with a lot of our footage and the way in which it flows, therefore we are planning to spend a day filming again in order to perfect some of the shots that we weren't as happy with.

In terms of progress, we have added the song to our video and played around with splicing a few of our shots, we have also slowed down one of our shots in order to add effect. Finally, we have began to overlay some shots that I previously filmed in Spain onto our current footage.

We haven't managed to make as much progress as we hoped with the editing due to not having our desired footage, so we are excited to really get into the editing process once we have had another day of filming.
